Swiss-made and individually numbered, the Centurion brings the
mechanical character of Thorens into a contemporary form.
Its compact brass construction combines carefully finished surfaces,
a distinctive engraved square motif and a precisely integrated
ignition mechanism.
Available in Ruthenium, Palladium and Yellow Gold finishes.
THREE EXPRESSIONS
Choose your Centurion
The Centurion is offered in three contrasting finishes,
each emphasizing the geometry, engraved surface and mechanical
character of the same underlying design.
Ruthenium
Dark, understated and technical. The deep metallic finish
gives the Centurion a contemporary character while allowing
its engraved grid pattern and brushed surfaces to emerge
through restrained highlights.
Palladium
Bright and architectural. The silver-toned finish emphasizes
the precision of the Centurion’s contours and reflects light
across its satin and textured surfaces.
Yellow Gold
Warm and distinctive. The gold-toned finish gives the
Centurion a more classical presence while preserving the
same disciplined proportions and mechanical construction.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Detail defined by material and process
The Centurion combines brass construction with satin-finished
surfaces, selected textured areas and a chemically engraved square
motif. Its exposed ignition wheel, hinge and lid form an integral
part of the design.
Each piece carries the Thorens name, Swiss Made designation,
production markings and an individual serial number.
PRESENTATION
Presented for its owner
Each Centurion is supplied in a dedicated Thorens presentation box
with a dark exterior and suede-lined interior.
ENGINEERING
Designed from the mechanism outward
The Centurion’s exterior form is closely connected to its internal
architecture. The arrangement of its mechanical components defines
the characteristic upper profile, ignition-wheel position and
compact proportions of the finished lighter.

A unique identity on every piece
Each Centurion carries its own production and serial markings on
the underside, together with the Thorens name and Swiss Made
designation.
The numbering identifies the individual lighter within its
production series and forms part of the provenance of each piece.

THORENS SINCE 1883
A new chapter in a century of lighter design
Hermann Thorens established the Thorens name in Switzerland in 1883.
Development of Thorens lighters began in the early twentieth century
and continued through successive generations of pocket, table,
circular and gas lighters.
The Centurion continues that history in a contemporary Swiss-made
series, combining recognizable mechanical character with modern
manufacturing and finishing.
